‘m also using Net-Zap.

I think you can;t connect wireless with more than 1 CPU because without router Wireless connection only allow 1 CPU connected and the connection named Ad-Hoc.

You can get D-Link DIR-300 Wireless Router because it’s cheap, Rp 450.000 only in Mangga Dua.

-Sharing internet connection is possible by installing 1 ( one ) more/another LAN card to the PC that already has an internet connection
( should u need to connnect more than 1 PC to the Internet enabled PC, u can always get a 4 port switch …that’s te simplest u can do…)
-after successfuly installing the new LAN card, U can share the NET ZAP Internet connection that U
have…DO NOT FORGET to enabled Internet sharing Permission before using the new lan Card … IP address to the 2nd PC will be given automaticaly by the Internet Enabled PC…. Good luck .

sorry I just realized that u do not want to use Switch or router…

***I hv never used NETZAP modem ..do u use the RJ45 connectorof the NETZAP modem to connect to ur PC ??? or U r connecting the NETZAP modem via a USB ????? ***

As per my first explanation.. the number of extra PC that will be able to use the internet connection depends on the PCI slots that u hve on the Internet enabled PC..so if u hv 2 PCI slot .. then u’ll be able to connect 2 extra PC to the Internet enabled PC .

(these days most PCs only have 2 PCI slots )

good luck

Hello, John.

Thank you for the explanation.

Just like u said, I don’t want to use switch or router :)

I already gave up on doing this internet sharing without router since no one in my home doesn’t want to use internet too often, except me of course :)

anyway, thanx for the helpful information.
